I have been following your 'journey' with interest and having spent a lot of my childhood in Nigeria am fully aware of the contrasts cultural diversity of Ghana and it's neighbouring countries. Your project sounds brilliant and a credit to everyone involved. I think Derek has missed his true vocation as a travel writer though!

Just had the opportunity to listen to Julia on the Radio.

Its wonderful that the blog has been up and running, and I'm looking forward to it being updated on your return.

I'm going to be really fascinated in the data that the web tracker will show, hopefully it will show up lots of 'lurkers' out there reading away... and if we get the chance to publish some of that data it might encourage one or two of you to post and ask questions on the teams return...

Come on be brave, ask and post away!

Just been catching up on the whole blog of your adventures. It sounds both amazing and exhausting, certainly life changing I guess. There seems to be such need yet such hope and optimism. I guess the difficult decision is what to do to make a difference without assuming to know what is needed? I'm slightly concerned about the death of Morag's bat??? Did anyone ask what Morag was doing at the time?

This is a special request. Can you find a fridge magnet probably at the airport on your return. This is to add to a big collection for Paul.

It sounds like you have a full schedule! your descriptions paint contrasting pictures.
The more I hear the more I think this is so worthwhile.
